Lt. Governor Guadagno Tours Local 102 - (12/5/2012)
On December 3rd, Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno took time out of her busy schedule to visit Local 102. Looking to profile top training centers and showcase a highly educated workforce in the Garden State, the Lt. Governor chose 102 as one of her stops. The Lt. Governor spent a good part of the morning touring our facility. Building Trades President Bill Mullen was on hand as Business Delle Cava and President Corrigan guided Lt.Governor Guadagno through all the classrooms and labs. Another big part of the day had the Lieutenant Governor be a part of an articulation agreement signing between Union County College and IBEW Local 102. This agreement will afford every apprentice the opportunity to earn an Associate Degree at the completion of their apprenticeship. We thank the Lt. Governor for her time and look forward to working with her in the future.
