This past Saturday, April 12, 2008 our brothers and sisters joined together for a protest at the Bridgewater Commons Mall.

The contractors hired to do the electrical work not only are non-Union, but also from Massachusetts. We would like to say how proud we are of our members for standing up for jobs that rightfully should be ours.

It was a strong showing of solidarity and brotherhood as they met up in the parking lot and then marched through the mall wearing hard hats and Local 102 shirts.

Local 102 has been picketing the site for three weeks, and continue to do so going forward. We would like to thank all of our members who have joined the picket line telling the Mall we will not stand for this! Going forward, please remember how important it is to join the picket line when you are called - our brothers and sisters need you to stand with them!
