CALLED MEETING REMINDER - (4/27/2020)
A reminder that May 5th is a called meeting for nominations.
Due to the global health crisis and in order to provide a safe process for everyone involved the Election Judge will be accepting drive-up nominations from 3:00pm - 7:00pm at the union hall on May 5th. **CALLED MEETING FOR NOMINATIONS - May 5, 2020**
In light of Governor Murphy extending the Public Health Emergency another 30
days, and in consultation with the DOL, Electec, and our election judge, we have
made the decision to utilize Alternate Plan "A" described on page 2 of the notice
for our meeting and nominations. This notice has been mailed to all members
and can be accessed by clicking the link below.
A few additional notes:
- We will be streaming the May meeting so that all members may view the meeting and Business Manager's report from the safety of their home. Due to social distancing restrictions we encourage all members to take advantage of this opportunity. (details of how to log on will follow in a separate correspondence)
- The nomination process is designed to ensure social distancing and avoid group settings
- Our election voting process is by mail ballot so there are NO concerns regarding restrictions in this area
