BM Delle Cava Appointed to Labor Advisory Council - (6/23/2016)
We are proud to announce that Business Manager Pat Delle Cava has been appointed to the Building a Better New Jersey Together, Inc. Building Trades Advisory Council. We look at this as not only an honor, but an opportunity to better represent the members of Local 102 as together with the business community we build a better New Jersey.
In a recent letter from Kim Guadagno, the Honorary Chair of BBNJT, the members of this council were announced. A portion of that letter is below:
On Friday, we announced BBNJT’s Building
Trades Advisory Council. Representing a statewide constituency of
thousands of hard-working men and women, the following building trades leaders
announced their support of BBNJT:
- Eric Boyce, Business Manager, Plumbers United
Association Local 24
- Patrick Delle Cava, Business Manager, International
Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 102
- Greg Lalevee, President, International Union of
Operating Engineers Local 825
Knowing that the interests of our state’s
building trades and business communities are intertwined and both focused on
economic development and job growth, I’m encouraged by the early support from
within these groups. Even though 200,000 new private sector jobs
have been created and our state’s unemployment rate has been
cut in half over the last six years, our work is not done. We will
rely on the friendship and counsel of these leaders as we continue to look for
ways to continue to grow New Jersey’s economy.
